Great Western Divide
Taken from Mt. Ericsson on solo ascent of SE face (see photo here: http://images.summitpost.org/original/506474.jpg). Climbing this mountain without ropes (Class 4+) was both the boldest and scariest thing I've ever done - but the elation from making it to the summit was priceless. Once on the summit, it becomes clear that the West Ridge (Class 2) is by far the easiest way - but I came from the SE face and struggled to find the true summit (3X!).
Mountains on the horizon, left to right: Kaweah at extreme left edge; Milestone, Midway, Table and Thunder (pyramid shaped peak on right, which I climbed once...my second dangerous climb after Mt. Ericsson).
